Overview
SenaKunja is a convention venue of the Bangladesh Armed Forces, located in Dhaka Cantonment on Shaheed Sharani. It is maintained by the Army Welfare Trust and is best known as the site of Armed Forces Day (held every 21 November to mark the founding of the Bangladesh military) and the Armed Forces’ own annual Iftar, attended by senior officials. Alongside these official occasions, SenaKunja is also rented out for weddings, receptions, and other private social gatherings.
That combination — a venue built for national ceremony, made available for private celebration — is what sets SenaKunja apart from Dhaka’s other convention halls.

- Capacity & Timing: Maximum 2,000 guests, single evening shift only (5:00 PM – 11:00 PM). No day-shift option is available at this venue.
- Vendors: Catering and event management must be selected from SenaKunja’s enlisted provider list — Nuruzzaman Catering is enlisted for this venue.
- Payments: An additional 2% SSL charge applies to all online payments. A provisional hold can be placed with a Tk. 5,000 pre-booking fee; the full balance must be settled within 72 hours to confirm the date.
